Mrs. Christine J. Love
Teacher
Mrs. Love has been a teacher at Butler Montessori School since 1980.
She was trained in the Montessori Method by Sister Mary Giuseppe. She graduated from Villa Maria College with a BS in Biology.
Mrs. Germaine Schaeffer
Teacher
Mrs. Schaeffer studied the Montessori Method at Clarion University where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education. She also studied the Montessori Method with Sister Giuseppe.
She completed the Preschool/Kindergarten Montessori Teacher Training Program in 2022 through the North American Montessori Center.
Before teaching, she spent 11 years observing and assisting Butler Montessori School for 11 years as a Teachers’ Aide. She also taught the kindergarten program at Kinder Care Learning Center in Cranberry, PA for 5 years.

Mrs. Joanne DeCola
Director
Mrs. DeCola was trained in the Montessori Method by Sister Mary Giuseppe. She completed the Preschool/Kindergarten Montessori Teacher Training Program in 2010 through the North American Montessori Center. She has been actively involved at Butler Montessori since 1997 and began teaching in 2008. Mrs. DeCola graduated from Slippery Rock University in 2008 with a B.A. in Elementary Education and Early Childhood. She became Director in August 2011.
Mrs. Paula Mack
Retired
Mrs. Mack graduated from Rosemont College with a B.A. in Elementary Education. She received her Montessori degree at Cleveland State University from the Montessori International Centre, London, England in 1976. Mrs. Mack was a teacher at Butler Montessori School from 1976 and was named Director in 2001 until she retired in 2011.
